Do you work at the airport? For an airline, a hotel, a restaurant, a store, a train station? Are you a baggage handler, customs officer, former student of an airport foundation, ground staff and above all, a food enthusiast?

Et Voilà! The Airport Chef Challenge is a culinary competition organized by Groupe ADP to celebrate the human and cultural richness of the Group’s airport communities.

From Northern Macedonia to France, Turkey and Croatia, the Group is proud to be stopping off at five airports in its global network for a gastronomic journey guided by you.

Who can participate?

The challenge is open to all employees of the airport community at Amman, Zagreb, Izmir, Skopje, Ankara and Paris airports, and students from their foundations. All you need is the ability to cook!

Cherry on top: a prize worth savoring!

The winner will receive a weekend for two in one of the 5 competition destinations, with dinner in a gourmet restaurant. His or her signature dish will be added to the menu of selected lounges in our international airports, enabling thousands of travelers to taste it. His creations will also be featured on social networks with worldwide exposure!

Until June 22th, 2025:
Application and preselection

  • Application form.
  • one and a half minutes video presentation to share a memory or special connection with cooking.
  • Selection of semi-finalists based on passion, storytelling and culinary skills.

Signature dish challenge

  • In a second video, Semi-finalists present a locally flavored dish they've created.
  • The contestant with the most appetizing dish from each country will be selected to take part in the final.

June: Interviews of participants in their home country

  • Our team will come to meet you to film you, allowing our audience to get to know you.
  • You’ll be able to show us where you cook (at your home, for example), where you doing your shopping and where you work.

September 8 to 12, 2025:

The Grand Final in Paris

  • Finalists will compete in Paris (all candidates must be in Paris, France, between September 8 and 12, 2025, invited by Groupe ADP).
  • Participants will be challenged to revisit a recipe live, showcasing their creativity and mastery of the kitchen.
  • The winner will be determined by a jury made up of airport experts and internationally renowned chefs. A People's Choice Award will be awarded by a public vote on social media.

Important

  • The finalists will be invited by the ADP Group to Paris between September 8 and 12, 2025.
  • Application and interactions will take place on our online platforms, except for the final in Paris.
  • The competition will take place 100% in English and is partly filmed (some footage of the finalists in their daily lives and workplaces). The images will be presented in three episodes broadcast on social networks

Aéroport Franjo Tuđman de Zagreb
